Book Review – 666 Park Avenue by Gabriella Pierce

The Blurb:

Welcome to New York City, where the socialites are witches. Jane Boyle has been living a fairy tale. When her boyfriend Malcolm proposes, Jane can't believe her luck and decides to leave her Paris-based job as a fledgling architect and make a new start with him in New York. But when Malcolm introduces Jane to the esteemed Doran clan, one of Manhattan's most feared and revered families, Jane's fairy tale takes a darker turn. Now Jane must struggle with newfound magical abilities and the threat of those who will stop at nothing to get them

What I thought:

I don’t normally read supernatural type books but this one was different. I was grabbed straight from the beginning and it only took me two days to read it all. It’s addictive you have to keep reading to find out what happens next.

It’s really well written and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

This is part 1 of a trilogy so I can’t wait for the next one to see what happens next.

666 Park Avenue by Gabriella Pierce is available from Amazon the paperback is £4.26 but the Kindle edition is only 99p so give it a try!

The One In Which I Make An Announcement

I have been a pretty useless blogger lately, in my defence I have been really busy, plus I couldn't think of anything interesting to write about until now.

Are you ready for my announcement?..................................................................................................

Those of you that read my last blog New Mummy know I swore I would never had another after my awful pregnancy and birth, a lady can change her mind!

Baby number 2 is due the beginning of February and we are very excited including BG who can't wait to be a big sister. Though she was bitterly disappointed when we found out I am only having one baby (phew).

I am feeling good the nausea and extreme tiredness has passed, however I do have gestational diabetes for the second time. It showed up really early this time and they think I already had a glucose intolerance. So its daily glucose tests and medication to keep my glucose levels low. I have to go to the hospital every fortnight and will need extra scans and consultant meetings.

Doubly exciting my youngest sister is also pregnant and is due 2 days after me, so lots of babies next year.
